Open Auditions for Fall Play & Improv Team:

The BHS Theatre Department will be holding open auditions for both the Fall Play and the Improv Team (aka BITE) in early September. To find out more about the upcoming auditions and rehearsal schedules, please attend informational meetings on Wednesday 8/27 and Thursday 8/28th, during lunch, in the auditorium.  At the meetings you can meet the director, ask questions, and find out details about: 

• FALL PLAY:  Shakespeare’s wild comedy “A Midwinter Night’s Dream” – we will hold open auditions for actors & interviews for crew on Sept. 3rd & 4th, 
• IMPROV TEAM: our award winning BHS Improv Team will host a workshop & open audition on Sept. 9th & 10th 

The lunch meetings and audition sign-ups are open to all Benicia High School students. No experience is necessary! Students are also encouraged to attend a live table reading of the fall play script on August 28th from 3:15-4:15 pm in room P-13.  Those who attend will gain a better understanding of the script, characters and setting, before they audition as an actor or interview for the production crew.
