Welcome to Benicia High School! I am extremely proud to be your principal and to serve our school community. I graduated from Benicia High School in 1997 and returned to Benicia in 2010 to pursue a career in education in my hometown. My educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts at UC Santa Barbara, Master of Arts from CSU San Francisco, and credentials in Teaching and Administration from Brandman University. Our goal is that EVERY student feels a sense of belonging at Benicia High School and that we provide students with all of the opportunities they desire as they explore and grow during their high school years. #GoPanthers

Mr. DeMesa was a high school counselor for 17 years before becoming a high school administrator. Mr. DeMesa oversees our school facilities as well as working with our Counseling Department to provide the highest level of academic and personal counseling to help students create their Academic Plan and meet their goals.

Mr. Smith is excited to join the team at Benicia High School this year. Previously, Mr. Smith taught Spanish and Special Education, giving him a strong foundation to support students and staff. He is excited to build relationships and get to know everyone in our school community.
